Matthew W. Hooks

Mr. Hooks provides strategic leadership for Ironwood’s development and investment plans. He leverages his 25+ years of experience in all facets of the real estate industry to build a portfolio of assets that provides returns that exceed expectations while also managing syndication and investor relations. 

Mr. Hooks is a born-and-raised Austinite. He maintains a long history of involvement with Austin’s professional and civic organizations including: The Downtown Austin Alliance (former board member), The Real Estate Council of Austin, the Austin Commercial Real Estate Society, the International Council of Shopping Centers, Broadway Bank (Austin advisory board member), The Dell Children’s Trust of Central Texas (founding member), The Nature Conservancy (Austin advisory board member), The University of Texas School of Architecture (former board member), Blanton Museum of Fine Art (ArtBuffs Co-Founder), and Austin’s Safe Alliance.

Scot W. Krieger

Mr. Krieger oversees Ironwood’s development, design, construction, financing, and accounting processes, applying almost 40 years of experience in real estate and finance. He is involved as a member of the Real Estate Council of Austin (former board member), the Real Estate Council of San Antonio, the International Council of Shopping Centers, the Duke University Austin Alumni Club (board member), The University of Texas at Austin Longhorn Foundation Advisory Council, and The University of Texas System Chancellor’s Council. He has served as a guest lecturer at The University of Texas McCombs School of Business and The University of Texas School of Law on real estate and finance topics. Mr. Krieger is a magna cum laude graduate of Duke University, having received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and History. He also earned a Masters of Business Administration degree from The University of Texas at Austin.

Casey R. Kopecky

Mr. Kopecky leads most of Ironwood’s leasing and brokerage activities. In this position, he specializes in sourcing new investment opportunities, project representation, tenant representation and development throughout Texas. Prior to joining Ironwood in 2015, Mr. Kopecky was an Assistant Vice President with Weitzman in its Austin office. Prior to joining Weitzman, he worked as an Associate at United Commercial Realty, where he provided landlord and tenant representation in the San Antonio market. He is a member of the Real Estate Council of Austin, the International Council of Shopping Centers, the Texas Wildlife Association, the Coastal Conservation Association, and the Dallas Safari Club. He served on the Board of Directors for the Travis County Municipal Utility District No. 18 and is on the River Oaks HOA board. Mr. Kopecky earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas.

Jeff R. Lewis

Ironwood added Mr. Lewis in 2023, and he handles capital markets and general brokerage, which includes investment properties, land acquisitions and dispositions, project representation, and tenant representation. Prior to joining Ironwood, Mr. Lewis was a Senior Vice President with Weitzman in its Austin office. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Real Estate Council of Austin.  Mr. Lewis earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from The University of Texas in Austin.

Cade R. Knebel

Mr. Knebel joined Ironwood in 2021 as an Associate. He specializes in general brokerage including project representation, tenant representation, and investment sales. Prior to joining Ironwood, Mr. Knebel represented both property owners and tenants in student housing for 4 years and worked as a Business Development Consultant at Oracle. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Real Estate Council of Austin. Mr. Knebel earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising and a minor in Business Administration with honors from The University of Texas at Austin.

Amye N. Cervenka

Ironwood welcomed Ms. Cervenka in 2022 as Director of Operations. Prior to joining Ironwood, Ms. Cervenka was Assistant Vice President – Administration and Brokerage for the Austin office of Weitzman. Amye began her career in commercial real estate in 2010 and received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management/Marketing from the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University.  Ms. Cervenka is a member of The Junior League of Austin and Carrying Hope (board member). 

Brenda E. Weber, CPM®

Ms. Weber oversees all financial and physical aspects of the property management division. She began her career in real estate with CB Richard Ellis in Honolulu in 1987 and continued her work in Austin with Transwestern Property Management and the Trammell Crow Company before joining Ironwood in 2006.

Jordan M. Allen

Ms. Allen joined Ironwood in 2023 as Assistant Property Manager. Previously she was the Operations Coordinator for Landlord Resources in Corpus Christi, Texas.   

Lori L. Scott

Ms. Scott is responsible for all accounting matters at Ironwood. She earned a Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Oklahoma.  Formerly a part of the accounting team at Lonquist & Co., she joined Ironwood in 2022.
